About The Project

We are preparing revised proposals for Rylston Road Care Home, a new care home proposed on the site of the derelict industrial building at 26–38 Rylston Road.

Following a detailed review of the original proposals, the team has undertaken a comprehensive redesign of the scheme. The project is being brought forward in partnership with Hartford Care, an established and experienced care home operator, and the revised proposals have been developed with direct operator input.

We appreciate the time many local residents took to comment on the original application. The feedback received, together with discussions with planning officers and technical consultees, has helped inform a revised proposal which includes significant changes from the original scheme.

Before submitting revisions to the planning application, we would like to invite local residents to attend our drop-in sessions to learn more about the proposals, meet the project team and share their views.
